DownWarning lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app. No emails, no waiting — you are always in control of your data.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the DownWarning app and sign in.
- Go to Settings (bottom tab bar).
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently Delete Account.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:
- Your account profile (email, name, authentication credentials).
- All monitors, check results, and incident history you created.
- Alert contacts, notification logs, and maintenance windows.
- Status pages and API keys.
- Active subscriptions are immediately cancelled — no further charges.
- If you are the sole member of a company, the entire company and its data are deleted.
- If your company has other members, ownership is transferred to the next eligible member and the company continues to operate.
When Deletion Happens
Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. All data described above is removed from our production systems right away. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged automatically within 30 days.
